Danielle LaRosa

I am a former elementary school special education teacher with a lifelong love for children’s literature. I hold a B.A. in Special Education and a Master’s degree in Reading, and throughout my teaching career I wove storytelling and rhyme into my classroom each day.

My background in early childhood reading first came to life in my debut book, When I Grow Up, I Want to Be a Song!, a music-inspired story that reflects my passion for joyful, rhythmic storytelling. While my earliest books were rooted in music, my writing continues to grow. I am currently working on The Wild About You Collection, a new series of love-filled keepsakes and bedtime stories inspired by my children, who are my greatest muse. The first book in the collection, I Love You So, is coming soon.

All of my books are written in rhyme and created with one purpose in mind: to put a smile on a child’s face, comfort in their heart, and help ignite a lifelong love of reading through uplifting, feel-good stories.
